Truly the ideal venue for the discerning golfer who would like to, not only test his/her abilities on one of the finest golf courses in South Africa, but who would also like to do so in style. Round 2 is at Princes Grant. Since opening in 1994 the Prince's Grant golf course has flourished just as the design team intended. With large greens and impressive fairways, it creates a completely unique and challenging experience for any golfer. The course is a links / parklands layout, designed and constructed by Peter Matkovich. The rest of the afternoon could be spent at the Prince's Grant Lodge with a walk on the secluded beach, canoeing on their private lagoon or some shopping along the Dolphin Coast.

Check out of Zimbali & drive into Durban for your final round in this region. It will be at the number 1 course in KwaZulu Natal, the Durban Country Club. Founded in 1922, it hosted the first of many South African Opens two years later. Much of the history of the game in South Africa has been enacted here. Sid Brews, Bobby Locke and Gary Player have has some of their greatest moments at the Country Club. The course saw Gary Player's first South African Open success in 1956 with 286. He returned in 1969 (having won the title another five times in the interim) to score a 273, which included a then record round of 64. In 1998 Ernie Els won his third South African Open at the club. The course, overlooking the Blue Lagoon estuary and the Indian Ocean has hosted 16 SA Opens in total, more than any other club in South Africa. Overlooking the course is the classic Cape Dutch style Club House. Its timeless grace has made the name Durban Country Club synonymous with relaxed elegance. Your round today is at the magnificent Gary Player designed course; the Lost City. It is a truly spectacular course with the Royal Palace looming in the background. Playing at the Lost City is a memorable experience. Gary Player designed the first nine in a desert style with a variety of cacti planted along the course. The back nine has a more indigenous African bushveld feel to it. Many of the holes have expansive views of the surrounding countryside. One of the features of the course is the 13th hole with its crocodile infested lakes. Be sure not to miss the opportunity to enjoy an after round sundowner at the Zimbabwe Ruins style clubhouse overlooking the 9th and 18th greens.
After golf you will be spoilt for choice when considering what to do next. How about an elephant back safari? Feeling lazy? What about relaxing at Lazy River whilst you take a gentle tube ride that flows endlessly round a kidney-shaped island at the Valley of Waves? Perhaps a top class variety show this evening, followed by a magnificent dinner.
Day 7
Today you play South Africa 's famous Gary Player Country Club, South Africa's number 2 course. The Gary Player Country Club situated at Sun City is home to the prestigious Nedbank Golf Challenge. The clever design and multiple tees make the course equally enjoyable for both the keen novice and the skilled professional. Sun City 's Country Club offers comprehensive facilities for golfer and non-golfer alike. Make use of the golf and pro shop, putting green, and health spa whenever you feel like it - the club is open seven days a week. A stay at the Sun City Resort and a round of golf at both golf courses is certainly a 'must do' for any golf addict planning to visit South Africa. Pilanesberg Game Reserve is set in the crater of a long extinct volcano. The Park ranks among the largest of the parks in South Africa (it is in fact the fourth largest park) and covers an area of 55 000 hectare. Pilanesberg National Park accommodates virtually every mammal of southern Africa.
Continue to enjoy the outstanding activities on offer today with perhaps a final trip to see "Lady Luck" in the casino!
