| Mount Edgecombe Country Club |
|
Neatly tucked away in the rolling hills of KwaZulu-Natal North Coast, inland of Umhlanga Rocks, is Mount Edgecombe Country Club, boasting two unique Championship golf courses, designed around the natural lie and habitat of the land. Formerly Huletts Country Club, the course has been redesigned by Hugh Baiocchi to create a memorable Championship course.
It has a beautiful setting in sugar cane country on the Kwazulu-Natal North Coast. These fantastic courses have many interesting water features, exquisite greens and rather nasty rough. Accuracy is of extreme importance. Mount Edgecombe 1 is always in magnificent condition. An interesting feature of this course is the multi-tiered greens planted with country club grass.
Mount Edgecombe 2 has fairways that mean you have to dodge dense pines, tall gum trees and a variety of shrubs. In all there are challenges aplenty for the serious golfer to test his skills and an enjoyable round for the occasional golfer.

| Prince's Grant Golf Course |
|
Since opening in 1994 the Prince's Grant golf course has flourished just as the design team intended. With large greens and impressive fairways, it creates a completely unique and challenging experience for any golfer. The course is a links / parkland layout, designed and constructed by Peter Matkovich.
The course is situated on the North Coast in the Kwazulu-Natal Province, 75km north of the Durban City Centre. Fashioned out of indigenous coastal bush, with its dunes, humps and hollows the course has many characteristics of a traditional British style "Links" course. The course is well groomed and picturesque with many of the holes offering spectacular views of the rolling coastline.
The par-5, 15th hole runs parallel with the coastline resulting in magnificent views of the coast all the way down to Umhlanga. The bunkers and thick bush on many of the holes require precision tee-shots from the golfer

| Zimbali |
|
Zimbali truly is the ideal venue for the discerning golfer who would like to, not only test his/her abilities on some of the finest golf courses in Africa, but who would also like to do so in style.
Tom Weiskopf - former British & South African Open Golf Champion - has designed a golf course which will challenge players of all handicaps in the most delightful surroundings. Tom Wieskopf had this to say: "The character of the property is one that I'd describe as having an abundance of natural features which include constant changes in elevation, a combination of mature indigenous trees and vegetation and some beautiful wetland areas with natural steams and ponds, all creating a dramatic and beautiful setting." Fish Eagles, Goliath Herons, Sunbirds, Vervet Monkeys and the rare Blue Duiker inhabit this Par 72, 18 hole golf course.
Most of the tees are high on the sides of hills or sand dunes. The fairways follow the valley with a green cut at the bottom of the next hill. Some of the holes are amongst what were once sugar cane fields with few trees and a distinct 'Links' feel to it. Other holes are situated in more dense indigenous forests and wet lands.
