Situated in Sun City, the Gary Player Country Club is probably South Africa's most well known golf course. This famous course, designed by Gary Player, is host to the annual Nedbank Golf Challenge.
This immaculately kept golf course is a challenge for golfers of all handicaps. Off the back markers the course can measure 7000 meters but the variety of tees makes it possible to shorten the course to accommodate all level of players. The fairways, greens and rough consist of kikuyu grass. The kikuyu in the rough takes on a specially daunting character. The rough swallows your ball and the grass clings to the club head when attempting to play out of it. A distinguishing feature on the course is its putting greens.
Strategically placed bunkers, swells and mounds protect super slick clover shaped greens. The Gary Player Golf course is a walking course, no golf carts available.

| Lost City Golf Course |

Another superb Gary Player designed Golf Course that is truly spectacular. With the Royal Palace looming in the background, playing at the Lost City is a memorable experience. Gary Player designed the first nine in a desert style with a variety of cacti planted along the course.
The back nine has a more indigenous African bushveld feel to it. Many of the holes have fantastic views of the surrounding countryside, part of which is the Pilanesberg Game Reserve which is home to a variety of wild animals, including the 'Big 5' (Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Rhino, Buffalo). The course consists of large waste bunkers and large fairway landing areas.
One of the most outstanding features of the course must be the Par-3, 13th hole with its crocodile infested lake. After your round you will have the opportunity to enjoy a sundowner drink in the Zimbabwean Ruins style clubhouse overlooking the 9th and 18th greens
